Your Helper

Ever wish you lived back in the time of the original 12 disciples, and were able to have the Lord Jesus by your side 24/7? Well, actually you have that privilege. The One who is beside you now is the Holy Spirit, whom Jesus said would be everything that He Himself was to the disciples…just for you. He is called in this passage The Helper, sent specifically to be with you and help you as if Jesus was physically in your presence. So how well do you know the Spirit? How close do you believe He is to you personally? The more you grow in the Word, the more deeply you’ll be able to answer this question.

Heavenly Father, help us to know that the Holy Spirit is as close to us as Jesus was to the original disciples, and that we can encounter Him daily through the Word of God. Open our eyes to understand the blessing of the Spirit’s presence.In the Name of Jesus, amen.
